BLOOD AND SACRIFICE

ONLY BY HIS BLOOD.

 Leviticus  17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Ever since the inception of the world, a very long time ago, blood which contains life is used as substitute on the altar of sacrifice to make peace with the creator.

Animals are used for sacrifices as their blood is sprinkled by the priest to make atonement.

Man was pronounced dead by God after Adam disobeyed God's command in the Garden of  Eden. The eternal doom awaits mankind. But God, out of love, didn't want man to perish, while man must still die because God had pronounced death upon him.

Romans  5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

The nature of Adam after the fall is the nature of death which was inherited by mankind. Man was never alive unto God anymore since Adam fell. The fellowship ceased. Communion was truncated. Man was going to perish, but God wanted man restored.

Man would not live except man dies.

How was this achieved?

A substitute was made for the life of man. 

Another man like Adam had to come and die so Adam and his entire race will not die and perish. This new Adam is the son of God who was sent by God to pay the death debt.

John  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God sent his only begotten son, representing Adam, to die for the sin of man by shedding his blood(his life) so that man can be made alive again.

1 Corinthians  15:45  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The death and the resurrection of the son of God was so that man can be made alive and have the original life which is everlasting life.

In the blood of Jesus Christ is the original atonement of sin unto eternal life and not in the blood of animals.

Ephesians  1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Hebrews  10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Recognising, accepting and believing this truth in your heart as you also confess with your mouth, mean you are saved.

Romans  10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Say this: "Lord Jesus come into my heart. I know I am a sinner and now I accept you as my personal lord and savior. I believe in your death and resurrection. I believe you died for me on the cross of Calvary. Amen"
